Studies for Sale 5 Integrated Geological and Engineering Studies East Central Alberta: Upper & Lower Mannville Regional Study CBM (Medicine River Coals) and Sands United Oil and Gas Consulting Ltd. has conducted a large scale regional study to evaluate Mannville coals and sands in 49 Townships in East Central Alberta. Through this initiative we have developed a comprehensive geological 3D mapping and characterization of the area, using available LAS data of over 2000 wells. We have integrated engineering reviews in four 12-Twp blocks as well as Oberlin (Twp38-21W4). The engineering component includes the up-to-date drilling and completion practices for CBM as well as DST and Pressure reviews. This valuable work provides a strong understanding for the resource associated with the development of Mannville coals by vertical and horizontal applications as well as an assessment of several gas bearing upper and lower Mannville sands. In order to make this exciting work accessible to our clients, and more manageable due to the large 49 Twp size, United has configured the work into 5 studies.
